"Blue", a Moody 54 based at Kip Marina, is a vessel unique in Scotland. It combines effortless sailing with combined five star luxury. "Blue", a centre cockpit yacht, is designed for serious blue water cruising.

Her three luxurious cabins and spacious raised saloon make life on board something to look forward to. The huge owner's stateroom includes full en suite facilities. The spacious galley has all the facilities to cater for extended periods at sea including deepfreeze, full size fridge, built in microwave. An on-board generator ensures that "Blue" is fully self sufficient at sea. Full central heating in every cabin as well as air conditioning. A huge flat screen television with DVD player means that major sporting events such as a Grand Prix or Golfing Championships can be watched whilst at sea! "Blue" has state of the art navigation systems including GPS and radar.

On deck "Blue" boasts a triple spreader rig with a cutter rig and a self-tracking stay sail. The in-mast mainsail is fully battened. Winches are electric as is the windlass. The bow thrusters assist maneuverability when mooring. "Blue" is also equipped with an Avon jet rib suspended from davits on the stern. This is a highly maneuverable rib which can reach speeds up to 40 knots.

"Blue" is fully MCA coded for commercial purposes with a full safety package for 12 guests plus the Skipper and First Mate for daily charter. The number of days charter for "Blue" can be tailored to individual client requirements.

Packages are tailored to meet client requirements on an individual basis.

The yacht is supplied with a Skipper qualified to at least RYA Yachtmaster Offshore with a Commercial Endorsement and Cruising Instructor qualification. No charge is made for providing a Skipper, however clients are requested to provide food and beverages for the Skipper. Clients are assured that the Skipper will allow them to sail the yacht and the Skipper is only aboard to ensure the safety of clients and the yacht. A booking fee and security deposit is required at point of booking and full balance due 28 days prior to charter.
